Tanning Injections- Get The Desirable Skin Tone
There are many varieties of humans present on the planet. There are many categories based on which they can be distinguished. One of the bases of classification is skin tone. Three alleles give rise to eight variations of skin tone. The human body contains a pigment known as melanin. The production of which determines the skin tone of a person. If the melanin production of the skin is high, then it results in darker skin. Whereas if the generation is less, then it results in a whitish and fair skin. Western people love bronze-brown skin. Tanning is the process by which the white-skinned people can get a brownish skin tone. There are several processes to get this skin tone, for example, exposure to the sun, tanning injections, tanning lights, etc. They get the desired skin tone.
Why do people need artificial tanning?
Humans have a wide variety of tastes in what they like. It may be food, clothes, hobbies, skin tone, etc. It is seen from a study that people living in western countries have an extraordinary attraction towards tanned skin tone. They are generally white-skinned people but show the tendency of having a bronze-colored skin tone. The process of getting that skin tone is through the process called tanning. By the tanning process, the people increase melanin production in their body. It provides them the skin tone they are fond of getting. Changing skin tone does not affect the normal functioning of the body.
How does the tanning injection work?
The tanning injections are available in two forms, namely, Melanotan I and Melanotan II. The working pattern of both injections is the same. The skin cells produce a pigment known as melanin that determines the skin tone of the body. Both the medicines work by replicating the alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. This hormone triggers the production of pigment melanin by binding with the melanocortin receptors present in the skin cells. The increased production of melanin pigment enables the skin to become darker with time. The Melanotan I stays for a longer time in the body than Melanotan II because the enzyme cannot break its action easily. Hence it is more beneficial to use. The life span of Melanotan II is for a short period, but it binds with a wide range of receptors in the body and thus provides a better result. People can take these injections as per the instructions, but overdose can cause severe side effects. Therefore controlled usage is highly recommended.
White-skinned people are often fond of tanned skin tone. They find it more attractive than the original ones. So they take several measures to fulfill their desirable brown skin. The UV rays help in getting the tan.
